This Privacy Policy explains how Qadri Irfan Trading & Services (Private) Limited (“QI Traders”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit qitraders.pk or contact us through it.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact form. When you send us an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number (optional), subject and message, together with the date, the page you sent it from, your IP address and basic browser details.
  • Blog comments. If you comment on a post we collect the name, email address and website you enter, plus your IP address and browser details, which help us detect spam. Comments are reviewed before they appear, and your email address is never published.
  • WhatsApp button. If you tap the WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp and is covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
  • Website statistics. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this website. Our contact form plugin keeps simple statistics on how often the form is viewed, including browser type and IP address.

3. How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and to provide our sourcing, inspection, logistics and related services.
  • To keep a record of our communication with you.
  • To protect the website against spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run this website, such as our web hosting and email providers, and when we are required to by law. Enquiries are delivered to our team by email.

5. Content from other websites

  • Google Maps on the Contact Us page loads content from Google, which may collect data and set cookies under the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address when the fonts load.
  • Gravatar profile pictures shown next to comments are loaded from Gravatar (Automattic). A scrambled (hashed) version of the commenter’s email address is used to look up the picture.

6. Cookies

We use only a small number of cookies and similar browser storage:

  • Comment cookies – if you tick “Save my name, email, and website in this browser”, these details are stored in your browser for one year so you do not have to type them again.
  • Login cookies – used only by our staff when they sign in to manage the website.
  • WhatsApp button – stores a small counter in your browser so its greeting is not shown to you repeatedly.

Google Maps may set its own cookies when the map loads. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our business records. Comments and their details are kept for as long as the post is online. Spam is removed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

8. Security

This website uses HTTPS encryption, and only authorised staff can access enquiries and comment details.

9. Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email irfan@qitraders.pk and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

10. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
